Don’t Rain On Our Parade!

With all this rain in Texas, I sure would be dying if I were a bride right now. Y’all, we have been in a drought since forever! Who would have thought that a lovely Saturday afternoon, in May, in Texas, would have a potential for downpours. Luckily, the rain missed us by an hour or two last Saturday as we gathered to celebrate Tonya and Eddie. We fretted when it started to sprinkle for a bit, but can you guess that the sun even showed it’s bright and shining face! Oh Sun, I miss you.
Tonya and Eddie were both great sports about the fear of rain. Heck, they were getting married on Lake Bridgeport, which was down 23+ feet just a few short months ago. On their wedding day, it was just 3 feet shy of being completely full!  I’d be pretty happy about that too, and not to mention the thing about spending the rest of your life with the one you love.
Congratulations y’all! Here’s to many, many happy years, but maybe with the rain a little more spread out.

You are so right Whitney. We were truly blessed with a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding. We all prayed mightily that the rain would hold off, and it did. The bride and groom felt that the day was absolutely perfect. Thank you for adding to that perfection through your beautiful photography. We can’t wait to get all the pictures.

We prayed the night before several times and the day of also, but you know it was going to be a perfect day no matter what. The pics you took for us show how perfect it was.the bed and breakfast is a perfect place to have a wedding,it didn’t help that she is a wonderful, bestest friend of mine because she spoils everyone like that.and we love the pics you took.thank you Whitney for the job you’ve done.
